Trunk Sale FAQS
This Fall we have a NEW LOCATION, a BIGGER SPACE & a bunch of NEW DESIGNERS participating! 😊
So…what exactly is Trunk Sale?
Trunk Sale is our biggest sale of the season and it happens twice per year (once in the Spring and once in the Fall). All of our favourite designers root through their storage lockers, select their best gems from previous seasons and send them to us at 30-70% off. This is a great way for them to clear out their overstock and for you to scoop up lovely Canadian-made pieces at great prices! This sale was always held at Workshop in the Byward Market but since we closed Workshop a few years ago, we've been moving it around!
This Fall, Trunk Sale will be held at Dom Polski Hall (The Polish Combatants Association) at 379 Waverley St (in Centretown, near the Staples). It's bigger than our previous space which means more space for changing!! 💕

Trunk Sale will take place in person for 4 days only at 379 Waverley St:
Thursday, September 26th 10am-8pm
Friday, September 27th 10am-7pm
Saturday, September 28th 10am-7pm
Sunday, September 29th 10am-2pm (we will start packing up Sunday at noon but you can shop what is still out until 2pm)
Due to the epic amount of work involved in preparing Trunk Sale, we are unable to put it online so you’ll have to visit (plus, we love seeing your smiling faces)!
Our brick & mortar shop, Flock Boutique, will continue to operate as normal through Trunk Sale week. Flock is open 11-6pm daily (10-6pm on Saturdays) at 1275 Welllington St W.

Workshop & Flock
- Wear comfy shoes, leggings, and a tank top. This will keep you comfy, and make it easier to use the communal change rooms we have set up for you!
- Don’t bring too many things with you. Trunk Sale can be bananas in the best way! Since there are so many people around, it’s best to limit the things you carry in if possible.
- Utilize your Shopgirls. We’re here to help, and we LOVE these clothes as much as you do! If you need a size or are looking something specific, please don’t hesitate to ask us!
- The hold queue is your friend. When you’ve started to collect a few things, let us know and we’ll put your things aside with your name on it. This cuts down on your wait time, and keeps us organized so we know who’s next in line.
- Give yourself lots of time. Even at our most efficient, it’s likely you’ll still have to wait a bit for a change room so make sure you’ve booked your babysitter and you don’t have a strict dinner reservation waiting for you.

Bring (or make) a friend. Shopping is always more fun when someone is there to help you out. If your bff can’t make it out, our Shopgirls (and your fellow customers) are always here to help. Bonus Pro Tip: We’ve seen real friendship develop in our communal change rooms because we have the BEST customers who are always there with some helpful advice and a great attitude.
- Don’t love crowds? Try Friday during the day. You’ll miss all the commotion *and* you can play hooky from work (we won’t tell).

Try something new. You might just find your new favourite designer by branching out of your comfort zone.

SMILE and bring your positive attitude. Trunk Sale is an incredible time and is made even better because of customers like you who are excited and happy. The positive energy is infectious and we want to make sure you leave us feeling as great as when you arrived!
