Workshop’s Spring Trunk Sale: March 28-April 1st, 2013!

As usual, our very organized customers have been calling and asking us for the date of our SPRING TRUNK SALE so here it is: March 28-April 1st (Easter weekend)! The big opening party will be on Thursday March 28th at 6pm where there is sure to be the best of deals, some fun goodies for munchin’, and me at the change rooms acting as the evening drill sergeant…I know you ladies love it!

The fun doesn’t end there though, because we’ve decided to officially hold the sale over for the whole weekend – this is for those of you who give us those sad puppy faces when you can’t make it the night of the event.  And because the sale is going to go on for 5 days, we have even more designers involved and even more great canadian made stuff at fantastic prices!  But don’t forget that after Monday at 6pm, everything magically turns in to a pumpkin (goes back to the designers), so don’t miss it!

For those of you who are new to the cult of the trunk sale, here are the basics: once in the Spring and once in the Fall Workshop invites a few of their favourite designers to participate in our trunk sale: they ship us tons and tons of great clothes, accessories and jewelry which are from past seasons collections, slightly damaged items, weird sizes (the xs people clean up at this event!), samples, etc! Our designers get to clean out their studio spaces and our customers get to pad their closets!  the deals are great – up to 70% off!

Another sure sign of Spring!

Hey Workshoppers!

The snow is melting, the crocuses are starting to peek through the soil, the birds are singing and we’re dusting off our bikes getting ready for Spring. While we know that we might still get another taste of winter after this week of awesome warm weather, the Workshop Gals  know it won’t last because of the Workshop Spring Trunksale is just around the corner and it’s how we really kick off the Spring Season!

That’s right folks! We’ve set a date for our infamous Spring Trunksale and we’re giving you all a chance to revamp your spring wardrobes at  serious discounts. Our 5th annual Spring Trunksale is going to be our biggest to date.  Mark your calendars ladies, the sale will start April 5th from 6pm to 9pm for our kick off party. If you can’t make it Thursday, no sweat, we’ll be holding the sale over until Sunday April 8th at 5pm. After that we’re packing up all the goods and sending ‘em back to make even more room for brand new spring shipment. With over a dozen participating designers you’re sure to find something great to spruce up your wardrobe without breaking the bank.

i heart trunk sale!

trunk sale opening night came and went and we are still reeling…was it the steady stream of happy shoppers laughing in the changerooms? was it the racks and racks of better than ever deals on great handmade goodies? maybe the duck and blueberry crostini from murray street market? i can’t be certain, but i can say definitively that this has been our best trunk sale yet!

if you missed opening night, do not fret! there are still tons and tons of great pieces at a fraction of their regular prices…so stop by today, tomorrow or anytime sunday…but don’t wait until monday, because all of our trunk sale items turn into pumpkins (meaning we pack them up and ship them back to the ladies who made them…we don’t actually turn them into pumpkins, although that would sure be a fun idea).

Workshop Trunk Sale: Sneak Peek!

i wasn’t able to post yesterday because i was at workshop hanging and steaming all of the amazing new stock we’ve received for this week’s TRUNK SALE (thursday-sun, see earlier posts)!  the stuff that our designers sent us this time around is better than ever (yipppee!) and there is TONS of it!  here are a few sneak peeks:

Trunk Sale Countdown!

i am really going to miss the superb signs that erin molly has been making at workshop!  they are like little unwrapped gifts that she leaves on the sidewalk to brighten everyone’s day!  this is one of my favourites – partly because it is soooo cute and partly because it announces one of my favourite events…THE TRUNK SALE!

boxes for the trunk sale are being stacked to the ceiling in the teeny tiny workshop basement…which is almost ready to burst! so – don’t miss it! the trunk sale will be held at workshop from september 22nd-25th!  join us and pad your closet with unbelievable deals (seriously! i just opened the Voila box!) from independent canadian designers!

How do we know?  Simple: Workshop’s much-awaited spring trunk sale is happening on Thursday, March 25th from 6:00 pm -9:00 pm!
